What year did you start with KATQ?

A: I started working part time in 2000, and went full time as an on air announcer in 2004. In 2006, she became General Manager.

What do you like best about working at KATQ?

A: I like the creativity, brain storming with others , coming up with new ideas and I like the challenge of seeing how things can be improved and run more efficiently.

Interesting tidbits about your life before KATQ?

A: I have worked as a dental assistant, had my own cleaning business, raised 3 boys, worked as an advocate for a women's crisis center and then as a cake decorator since 1992.

Anything else you want to tell us?

A: I get to work with some of the greatest people I have ever met on a daily basis, have opportunities to talk and visit with people from all over the country and the world, sharing ideas,learning and I have been blessed to have been mentored by some of the greatest in broadcasting.

A: I believe I started at the station in 1995

What do you like best about working at KATQ?

A: What i like best about my job is selecting the music being aired and the interaction with our listeners.

Interesting tidbits about your life before KATQ?

A: I have a nice collection of wildlife carvings and enjoy time with my family.

A: October 2013

What made you want to be in radio?

A: It was something I had never pictured myself doing and was ready for something challenging and different.

Interesting tidbits about your life before KATQ?

A: After graduating high school from here, I moved to Denver by myself. I began working in a large hospital shortly after and was promoted to the supervisor in the Dietary department. I worked there for 8 years.

Anything else you want to tell us?

A: My one year old daughter Harper likes to come visit the radio station also. Maybe she will be the next DJ!

What do you like best about working at KATQ?

A: It challenges me at times because it is something that I have never done before. Although hearing myself speak still isn't easy, this job has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone by recording ads. I could not imagine a better job to have!

What made you want to be in radio?

A: Never imagined myself in radio, just enjoy working with the technology and the team.

Interesting tidbits about your life before KATQ?

A: When I'm not working on tech I'm working as an Emergency Medical Technician.

Anything else you want to tell us?

A: Yes, resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

What do you like best about working at KATQ?

A: It has to be working with Jim while supporting the game broadcasts.
